Fish shaped pigmented club

Object information

Physical description

A wooden club in a fish shape, featuring two flukes. The club has a central incision, continuous fluting, and a pigmented design. The pigmented colours include red, brown, black, yellow and white. The club has horizontal segments of design on both sides which includes two circles with an X on them, bands of soild colour, stripes, dots, ladder like motifs, and cross hatching. The central opening has a row of incised diagonal lines on both sides of it.
