Physical description

Glass lantern slide with a black and white image depicting an ink pen drawing. Portrait of a man with short dark hair. Clean shaven. Wearing a tie, vest and jacket. Hands folded in front of him. Printed text underneath the portrait reads: 'Gardiner after his conviction'. Handwritten text in black ink on the glass slide frame reads: 'FRANK GARDINER IN JAIL'. Blue biro '5'. (Top). Held in case (2001.15.85) titled - 'ROBBERY UNDER ARMS'. Note: Glass slide cracked bottom left.
