Physical description

A glass lantern slide with a black and white image depicting a painting of a main street scene with seven buildings visible. The background has people gathering in the street, some on horseback. The foreground has two men on horseback galloping down the street toward the viewer. One is waving his hat. To the left of the horsemen is a woman and child. The child is waving a stick at the galloping horsemen. Handwritten text in black ink taped to the bottom of the glass slide frame reads 'The attack on BATHURST BY BEN HALL DUNN GILBERT VANE OMALLEY'. '49' is handwritten on the top.
