Object information

Description

The TRIM file (p59) records this object as having come from a private museum at Chevy Chase, Dangarsleigh, Arrmidale, N.S.W. Apparently this museum was established by Robert Issell Perrott (1822-1895), who came to Australia with his father, Dr Thomas Montgomery Perrott in 1839. Apparently most of the objects in the collection were collected between 1850 and 1900.

Physical description

Wooden sword club with a curved flat blade tapering to a flared flat handle. There is adhesive on the burnished handle.
