The TRIM file (p59) records this object as having come from a private museum at Chevy Chase, Dangarsleigh, Arrmidale, N.S.W. Apparently this museum was established by Robert Issell Perrott (1822-1895), who came to Australia with his father, Dr Thomas Montgomery Perrott in 1839. Apparently most of the objects in the collection were collected between 1850 and 1900.
