Physical description

A pastel, texta and pencil child's drawing from Thursday Island Primary School. The work shows a series of illustrations by the artist including objects, flora and fauna from the their cultural heritage. The artists name is written in the centre of the work in black texta reading, 'MY NAME IS / SERDONIA AKEE I AM / 12 YEARS OLD AND I AM / IN GRADE 7'. The title, written below, reads, 'THESE ARE ALL THE / TORRES STRAIT'S INSTRUMENTS, / ANIMALS, FLOWER, DANCING / GEAR AND COCONUT MATS / AND BROOMS'.
