Mercer Marine Chronometer No 13290 in a wooden case, with accessories

Physical description

A metal marine chronometer supported by wooden, glass case. Suspended in centre of case by two metal pins and secured by fastening latch. Engraved text on circular label above keyhole reads 'THOMAS MERCER, 13290, ST ALBANS'. Engraved text on face of chronometer reads 'Thomas Mercer / GROUP PRIZE NEUCHATEL, 1923. MAKER TO THE ADMIRALTY. / Eywood Rd St. Albans.'. A wooden condenser box is attached to side (includes wiring).
