Title: 'Painting depicts Namarrkon, the Lightning Spirit and dancing mimi spirits'.The lightning spirit is watching over a ceremony in his honour which is being performed by the Mimi spirits. A didjeridu player and two singers, one of whom is playing the clapsticks, are shown, together with other dancers and participants. The Mimis are believed to have taught Aboriginals many ceremonies and dances.
A bark painting worked with ochres on bark and on wooden restrainers. It depicts a spirit figure on the left. On the right there are a number of dancing mimi spirits with one playing a didjiridu, another the clapsticks while another sings.The mimis are infilled with red and black hatching on white. The painting has a red background.
