Bark painting depicting a spirit being Durlklorrkilorrken alternatively known as Balangdjangarlayn seated and holding wurrkurduk, a black whip snake (Demasia olivacea). The spirit and snake and the plinth on which the spirit is seated have been painted initially as pipeclay silhouettes and decorated with an infill of red ochre hatching and dots with additional blocks of charcoal was and a vertical bar of yellow ochre on the plinth. A shape painted in yellow wash at the bottom may be a reflection of this plinth. The spirit's backbone and left side ribs are shown in x-ray style. The artist says the left hand ribs are shown because the spirit is turning. The spirit is shown with large protruding ears.
