An ochre on bark painting depicting djukerre, female black wallaroo (Macropus bernardus). The animal has been painted initially as a pipeclay silhouette on a charcoal wash ground. X-ray detail added in black and red hatching includes: Optic nerves, heart and lungs, backbone and muscle structure. Two sticks have been fastened with string to the top and bottom of the painting, as a frame like structure.
