Object information

Physical description

Sticker, parking permit. Light purple text reads 'THE NEW PARLIAMENT HOUSE / OPENING CEREMONY / 9 May 1988 / PARKING PERMIT' above a parliament-house-flag-pole-with- Australian-national-flag-flying logo. Printed beneath the logo is 'TRANSPORT OFFICER: 'in the same colour as the rest of the text and a signature in black. This sticker appears unissued and unused as it still has its backing. The manufacturer's mark on the reverse of the backing is printed 'FasPrint / Snap 'n Peel' and 'FasPrint / REMOVEABLE' in a continuous sequence across its surface. The light purple stickers appear to be for those with access to a location referred to as 'Const. Man' .
