Object information

Physical description

Rectangular brown wooden footstool or kneeling stool that has a padded tapestry top. The tapestry is on whitish fabric with red trim around its border and it has one panel that depicts a factory building and another that contains 'EST 1853 / LUCINI & CO / MACARONI FACTORY / HEPBURN SPRINGS'. The panels are flanked on both sides by crimson-red roses and green leaves. The stool has wooden side panels and short round carved wooden legs.
