Printed text on front reads 'Christmas Day once more is here, / And I wish you pleasure fair; / Best of luck and best of health, / Best of firends your life to share.'
Handwritten message on reverse reads '148 Tocoonshire St City 8 Dec 1921 / Dear Mother your letter came this morning glad to / hear all well Dan & I went to Uncle Billy / funeral on Monday 5 Dec 1920 all the aunts / & cousins in the city were there. 3 moarnign / coaches He ws up & about 5 minutes before / he died it has been cold those few days / yours truly daughter Nell'
