Handwritten message on reverse is addressed to 'Master Harold Inch / C/o Mrs D Birdd / "Townsend" / Strathon / N. Cornwall / England' and reads 'My dear Harold / This is a picture / of a settlers home that / is shown in the exhibition / I have never seen / one in our country like / it though there may / have been some in the / early days. We have / stone walls now and iron / roofs and wire fence. / Uncle Albert does not / forget you. Yours sincerely / Ams[?] Waugh'

Physical description
