Message on reverse reads 'Brisbane. Friday / My dear Liddie, / There was no letter from / any of you this morning I hope I shall / have one tomorrow. Dad cam back this / morning I wired to Auntie that we were / not coming here till Tuesday. I think I Wes / will go as far as Tenterfiled that day / leave there Wed. night and be home on / Thursday morning. Grandpa sends / his love and would like you to write / to him. It was not Mr Archers fault / that Dad missed his train, it was / that all their watches and clocks were / half an hour slow. Dad bought me / two paw paws from Fargoinie I wish / they would keep to carry home but / they are quite ripe now, and they / are so nice. Dad sends his love to / you all. I hope everyone is quite / well and that I shall have a letter / in the morning. Fondest love / from Mother'
