On Sunday we went to Claudie River. I saw a stingray swimming across the sea and I told my dad. I said ... "Dad I saw a stingray" and my dad ran to the water and he speared the stingray and we cooked it up ... and we make maabus ... and we put it on top of the fire. My dad said ... "Elly ... we going to look for more stingray". My mum say ... "and get some fish for dinner". Then we came back to the camp. We get to stingray and three fish ... snapper ... three big snapper. Then we eat it up. The end." Elly Macumboy, 2002
