Physical description

Ochres on bark, wooden box frame. Bark painting in two parts. Top half has 2 rows of various fish & 2 turtles in yellow with oblique yellow bands & crosshatching. Bottom half shows crocodile with turtle on back with panels of diamond patterned crosshatching. Artist: Mungurawui, Gumatj (Yirritja). Location: Yirrkala, NT. Title: Fish, crocodiles and turtle.
