Carved human figure

Physical description

A carved wooden male figure, with pierced ears and a carved hat which has a triangular point at the top of it. Decorative lime-filled incisions are featured on the chest, umbilicus and across the forehead which meet down the cheek line. Further lime-filled patterns are featured along both arms of the figure joined together across the shoulder blade and down the spine. The figure has part of the penis and one foot missing. Also tied around the neck are red coloured shells that are round in shape, threaded with a black and brown coloured string made of plant fibre.
