Carved human figure

Object information

Physical description

A human figure carved from wood. There are incisions depicting eyes, nose, mouth, and hair or a headpiece on the face, and incisions depicting arms and hands on the torso. There are also carved knees, a prominent navel, and a waistband that extends around to the reverse side of the figure. The incisions are filled with white material. The legs terminate in angular feet, and long ears are carved at the sides of the head, one of which is broken.
