Object information

Physical description

A postcard featuring a black and white photograph of a scene with buildings near a train track and a train signal, and a message on the back. The image shows a row of buildings situated back from the train line and a few other buildings closer to the tracks. There are also train trucks next to the railway tracks. In the foreground there is a semiphore signal on the top of a hill that has a cutting through it for the train line. The address on the back reads "Miss L. Grieve / Arthur St. / Granville." The message reads "Dear [Lommay?] / I received / your Post Card. I was / so please to hear from / you. I missed you all / very much but I am / getting a little more / reconciled now. I have not / [saw?] any of the girls yet / as I have not been to Sydney / Write soon from / Yours Sincerely Aunty Peggy". There is also a signature for "M. Garrett" on the card.
