Attached to the building is a bridge that extends over railway tracks. The building is on a raised platform next to the tracks, which has a sign that reads "NEWTOWN". There are men and women on a seat and in the shadows of the building. At the bottom of the card is the text "RAILWAY STATION / 7/16". The address on the back reads "Miss Lydia Vaudrey / Besancon / Springdale Road / Killara". The text starts "The Park / Dear Lydia / I was very / sorry I could / not go out to see / you..." The postcard has a postage stamp and a postmark.
