A leaf shaped wooden shield with both ends tapered. The face is incised with a feather design and a central cross. The handle is made of bent wood lodged in two holes in the shield. The reverse has text in black marker that reads '297 / Victorian Type' and there is a nail at one end.
On display at the National Museum of Australia.
