Physical description

A postcard featuring a coloured black and white photograph of a railway station with trains, and a message on the back. The image shows a number of steam engines and carriages on tracks surrounded by buildings and sheds. The sky and trees have been tinted. At the bottom of the picture is the text "RAILWAY STATION. ADELAIDE / MELBOURNE EXPRESS LEAVING". Below this is a star symbol and "PHOTO". The address reads " Miss [M Casey?] / No 5 Levy Street, / [---pendale?] / Sydney / N.S.W." The message is headed "Port Adelaide" and reads " In the best of / health leaving / here to-day for / Fremantle with / 110 passengers in the / Saloon / [I remain?] Jim" There is a postage stamp and a postmark on the card.
