Object information

Physical description

A postcard featuring a black and white photograph of a train station with flooded houses and land behind, and text on the back. The station name is "NORTH LISMORE" and has a small weatherboard building with a sloped corrugated roof. Some of the people at the station are barefoot and one may be hanging clothing over the railings. There are several pairs of shoes on the platform. In the background there is a boat with people on the water. On the back of the postcard is the text "Flood 1921 at Lismore".
