Object information

Physical description

A postcard featuring a black and white photograph of Balmoral Beach. The foreground is dominated by two tree trunks forming a 'V' shape in the centre of the image. On the beach there are people, predominantly men in long trousers and shirts, walking and playing on the beach and at the water's edge. Behind the beach is the headland with a road running almost horizontally across it and a large house to the left of centre on top of the ridge. Most of the area is covered with native bushland. It has the words "Balmoral Beach." and "Sydney Pleasure Resort Series 57. / Kerry (Copyright) Sydney." in the bottom left and right corners respectively. The postcard is slightly discoloured.
