Physical description

A postcard featuring a colourised photograph of Clifton Gardens overlooking Chowder Bay. A cluster of buildings are depicted on the left side of the image and a building in the foreground of the image has a verandah at the rear and a sign reading 'Thompsons' (presumably David Thompson's Marine Hotel'). Another building can be seen on the right side of the image. A paddle steamer is depicted in the centre of the image and a smaller boat can be seen on the right side of the image. It has the words "Clifton Gardens' and "Sydney Pleasure Resort Series 58. / Kerry (Copyright) Sydney." in the bottom left and right corners respectively. Some of the text on this postcard is faded and the sky is discoloured.
