Ceramic Wedgwood dinner plate from the North Head Quarantine Station

Object information

Physical description

A ceramic Wedgwood meat plate from the North Head Quarantine Station which is glazed white with a blue pattern. The centre of the plate is flat with raised rim. The central design is a woman with a deer. Panels around the outer edge of the plate depict cherubs, deer, fish, rabbits, hare, and sheep with a blue border. Reverse of plate is inscribed with 'Wedgwood'.
