Physical description

Parlour clock with an ornate wooden case that has a central door containing a white design painted on a glass panel on the front. The round face of the clock contains Roman numerals. A label is attached to the clock stating "Prize Medal Awarded, Paris Exposition, 1878. PARISIAN / None (sic) genuine without this Trade Mark ("A" printed inside a square and triangle) / ANSONIA CLOCK COMPANY. / Factories - ANSONIA, CONN., and BROOKLYN, N.Y. / SALESROOMS: 11 to 19 CLIFF STREET. NEW YORK, U.S.A."
