Handmade green cotton tablecloth with six square green serviettes

Object information

Physical description

A handmade green cotton tablecloth with six square green serviettes. The tablecloth is made of three strips, with machine hems and joined with faggoting in green stranded cloth. There is drawn threadwork around the edge and fancywork (orange daisies and black crosses) in each corner. The square, green serviettes each have a hand stitched hem, a border of drawn thread work and in one corner a fancywork design of orange daisies and black crosses.
