A pair of small black and brown wooden goanna sculptures, each standing on three of its four legs. One carving has its head turned to its right and with the tail turned to its left. The top exterior is covered with burnt pokerwork designs consisting of four circles positioned along its back while along both lower sides of the neck, body and tail are a row of closely positioned semi-circles. The rest of the neck, body and tail are darkly shaded. The other carving has its head turned to the left with the tail turned to the right. The top exterior is covered with burnt engraved designs, consisting of a row of shaded circles which are positioned along the back. Along the lower sides of the body and tail are a row of closely positioned semi-circles. The rest of the head, back, tail and legs are darkly shaded.
