Physical description

A length of chestnut coloured horse hair from the horse "Uncle Sam". The hair is in a plait and tied at both ends with pink ribbon. The hair has been stored inside an envelope with a business card. The envelope features text that reads "UNCLE SAM / WINNER OF TWO CAULFIELD CUPS". The business card of E.A. McDonald is printed on white cardboard in black ink, and the card is dated on the back "LEEDS JULY 4TH 1921". There are also four signatures on the card, written in pencil "MARJORIE FLESHER, LARNIE STAMFORTH, J.H. LEUTY, GLADYS LEUTY".
