Physical description

A red cotton Australian Imperial Forces cricket team flag, 1919. The flag shows the battlefields of Europe and the Middle East where the Australian forces of World War One saw action. The stars of the southern cross highlight Gallipoli, France, Egypt and Flanders. The union jack inset shows the coast of England. The flag is screen printed in red, white and blue and is attached to a stick. The text 'A.I.F CRICKET TEAM' is printed on it in black.
