Caption reads: 'DINJIMANNE AND FAMILY, GILES' WEST CAMP, JULY 24th. / The gin is carryinga large food carrier or "mika" upon her head and a yam stick in her hand; the man has three spears and a thrower, or "mero." '

Physical Description

Black and white film negative. Shows a man on the left and a woman holding a child; all are naked. The man has long hair and a beard and is carrying three spears and a spearthrower in his left hand. His right hand, behind his back, holds his left arm. The woman also has a large food carrier on her head supported on a pad, and a digging stick in her right hand. They stand on a plain with low vegetation with a belt of trees behind.
