Physical description

Teleprinter printout dated 11.11.1975 on white paper with black text; "Pronorsquare. "In a move unprecedented in Australia's 75 year history as a Federation, the Country's largely honorary Governor General, Sir John Kerr, dismissed Prime Minister Gough Whitlam this afternoon and ordered the leader of the Opposition Labor party to form a caretaker government until an election is held. The Governor General's action, which seemed to catch everyone, including the Prime Minister by surprise, was designed to end a bitter month long dispute over the budget.".
